Best Foods To Boost Your Child’s Immunity

We are enough mature now to follow preventable measures for staying protected from numerous health related ailments, but children are not good at keeping themselves away from the things which can make them sick. That’s why your children require special care and attention at each moment. Similarly, it’s your responsibility to protect them in this pandemic. But the difficulty is that you can’t follow them 24 hours or notice things they touched or come in contact with. So, the best thing to keep your child safe is to boost up his immunity, which is the body’s ability to defend against various diseases causing pathogens. If the immune system is well built, then the risk of being infected with a disease is decreased to a certain extent.

You can easily provide a strong immune system to your child by feeding them some amazing foods known for boosting immune power. We will tell you the foods beneficial for your child’s immune power in a natural way. Try to include these foods in your child’s daily diet for getting fast results.

1. Eggs

Vitamin D and several immune boosting nutrients are present in sufficient quantities in eggs. If your body has enough quantity of Vitamin D then there is much decreased risk of being infected with diseases. Eggs are only food for getting Vitamin D in a natural way. Try to add two to three eggs in the breakfast meal of your children for boosting their immune system.

2. Salmon

Salmon fish is a powerhouse of Omega-3 fatty acids. These fats are beneficial in reducing inflammation, improving brain functioning, strengthening immune power and protecting the body against respiratory infections. Give your child cakes of salmon or nuggets as this way is more likely to the children.

3. Almonds

Almonds are rich with Vitamin E and manganese which are potent boosters for the immune system and efficient in improving brain power to learn and recognize things. Give 5-6 soaked almonds to your child early in the morning to build a strong immune system.

4. Yogurt

The Yogurt is one of the most beneficial foods for overall well-being. Consumption of yogurt will stimulate the immune system and enhance digestive functions of your child. You can give yogurt to a child by adding a little amount of vanilla or chocolate extract to improve taste as per his choice.

5. Berry

Berries are packed with large quantities of nutrients and antioxidants which support the body in fighting with oxidative stress developed due to harmful toxins and free radicals present in the body. This oxidative stress is not good for healthy functioning of whole body systems including the immune system. You can give different types of berries daily to your children such as blackberries, cranberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries.

6. Broccoli

We all are familiar with the health benefits of broccoli and its uses. It consists of numerous immune system boosters, vitamins and antioxidants which work in a synergistic manner to promote the healthy functioning of the body. Broccoli is much beneficial when eaten raw.

7. Oatmeal

Oats are also very advantageous for uplifting the overall health especially the immune system. They consist of beta glucans, which is a fiber that stimulates killer cells. These cells further fights with viruses, bacteria and other pathogens that negatively affecting the body health.

8. Spinach

9. Sweet Potatoes

Consumption of sweet potatoes is helpful in inducing the white blood cells in the blood which plays a crucial role in defending the body against various infections. 10. Seeds

Feed your kids with a variety of seeds such as flax seeds, sunflower seed and pumpkin seeds to build a strong immune system. Consumption of a wide variety of seeds will provide them with omega-3 fatty acids, zinc and Vitamin E to support the immune system in working efficiently.
