Diet Chart for Infertility

Infertility is a condition of failure to reproduce offspring. A large number of the population is affected by this disorder in the whole world. Both males and females can get affected by this disorder due to several factors. Suffering from infertility can lead to depression and neglecting behavior in the society. So, it is mandatory to restore good sexual health to live a happy life.

Causes

Fertility in both males and females is affected by several factors such as improper diet, pollution, excess stress, unhealthy lifestyle habits, hormonal imbalance and many other factors. 

Diet Plan for Infertility

Patients suffering from infertility problems should follow a nutritious diet along with herbal remedies to recover in a speedy manner. A combination of Ayurvedic remedies and a healthy diet will support sperm health, fetal development, egg health, blood purification, and much more. We prepared a diet chart for helping you to get rid of fertility.

Diet Instructions:

Early-morning- One glass of water + 1teaspoon Fenugreek seeds

Breakfast- Veg Oats/ Idli/ Besan pancake/ Veg Poha (Rice flakes)/ Veg Upma (Semolina) / Veg Dalia (Broken wheat porridge)/ Semolina pancake/ Stuffed Chapatti/ Chapatti with Vegetable or Dal/ Milk/ Yogurt/ 2 egg-whites

Mid-morning- Sprouts/ Coconut water/ Lemon water/ Smoothies/ Fruits

Lunch- Plain Chapatti/ Boiled rice with Vegetable or Dal + Curd + Steamed salad

Evening- Herbal tea/ Sprouts/ Roasted Chana/ Milk/ Smoothie/ Homemade soups

Dinner- Boiled rice/ Chapatti with Vegetable or Rice with Steamed salad

Before sleep- Lukewarm water with mixed Turmeric

FOODS TO CONSUMEFOODS TO AVOID
✔️ Cereals: Whole grain cereals, Whole brown bread, Oatmeal, Whole wheat flour, Porridge, Puffed rice, Rice flakes, Quinoa, Brown rice

Chapatti Ratio– Wheat flour (50%) + Black chana (25%) + Soybean (25%)

❌ Noodles, Cheese biscuits, Cream crackers, Cream-filled biscuit, Sweet biscuit, White rice, White refined flour, Pasta, Macaroni
✔️ Fruits: Grapefruit, Olives, Plum, Pears, Pineapple, Apricot, Figs, Dates, Papaya, Watermelon, Kiwi, Oranges, Blackberries, Cranberries, Strawberries, Blueberries, Pomegranate, Apple, Avocado, Banana❌ All canned and packaged fruits
✔️ Vegetables: Potatoes, Green peas, Tomato, Red pepper, Yam, Brussels sprouts, Bell peppers, Cauliflower, Bitter gourd, Round gourd, Ridge gourd, Bottle gourd, Cabbage, Garlic, Carrots, Broccoli, Asparagus, Spinach and Kale❌ Dried beans and overcooked or baked vegetables
✔️ Pulses: All pulses and lentils❌ Dried and frozen pulses
✔️ Dairy products: Cheese, Yogurt, Curd, and Skimmed milk❌ Condensed milk, Cream cheese, Whole milk, and cream
✔️ Spices: Cinnamon, Cardamom, Salt, Coriander, Black pepper, Thyme, Cumin, Turmeric, Fennel, Fenugreek seeds❌ Red chilies
✔️ Drinks: Aloe Vera juice, Herbal tea, Beetroot juice, Lemon juice, Herbal tea, Smoothie, Homemade soups, Sugarcane juice, Clear soups, Buttermilk, Coconut water, Orange juice, Pomegranate juice, Gooseberry juice❌ Alcohol, Canned and packed soup, Cream-based liqueurs, Whole milk drinks, Tea, Coffee, Hot chocolate drinks, Squashes, Sweetened drinks
✔️ Flesh foods: Eggs, Oysters, Roasted or Grilled lean meat, Tuna, Sardine, Salmon and Mackerel, Chicken❌ Beef, Sausage, Ham, Turkey, Dark meat, Red meat, Processed meat, Canned meat, Meat sauces, Deli meat, King mackerel, Marlin, Shark, Swordfish, Tilefish, Bigeye tuna
✔️ Seeds and Dry fruits: Almonds, Walnuts, Ginseng, Sesame seeds, Chia seeds, Pumpkin seeds, Flax seeds, Sunflower seeds❌ Pistachio and Cashew nuts
✔️ Oils: Cow ghee, Olive oil, Sunflower oil, Coconut oil❌ Palm oil, Butter, Trans fat foods
✔️ Other foods: Homemade only❌ All bakery products, Deep-fried foods, Spicy foods, Junk foods, Too much salty foods, Charcoal-broiled or barbecued forms of cooking

  1. Walk for at least 45 minutes daily
  2. Avoid skipping meals, especially breakfast
  3. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily
  4. Consume whole fruits rather than fruit juices
